New Things For Photography

I also would like if we could put pictures on surfaces like a desktop or a table. And they could add on to the photography career. If we ever got celebrities in the Sims 4, you could work as a paparazzi. Or be a blogger lol

I feel that Photography doesn't provide enough of taking pictures of what I would like hence why I barely remember I have the option to take Photos at all. :) I'd be totally happy for a complete Photography expansion, especially including the ability to take pictures of the whole family, or perhaps professional photographers somewhere to do so.

Love your ideas, especially the toddler photography! That would be so cute!! It's so hard to take cute pictures of them.

- Maybe themed photography would be cute, like funny/cute holiday theme, birthday, wedding theme, etc.
- Wish we could put the pictures we take in photo frames to display on night tables or coffee tables (like in Sims 2).
- Another idea would be taking a selfie while carrying your toddler. Their poses could be smiling, crying, or trying to grab the phone
- Also, being able to choose a pose, like a peace sign, tongue out, duck face, or blowing a kiss :smiley:

I like the idea of making memories. I found out how to do that with screenshots. I would love more ways of using photos to convey to other sims information. I would love ways of really being able to share in a more personal way, your memories. Ways of talking about them and displaying them for a larger group, even random sims. Sitting around looking at photo albums or even just talking about memories. I know we have simstigram, share photos on a phone, uploading pictures or banter with old friend. I would think that is kind of what they are doing anyway. I just wish there were ways of knowing what another sim was thinking and feeling about these memories.

I kind of wanted a media skill or something. It would be where certain sims want pictures of things. It might be a sim who wants a picture of a bee in the park in Sunset Valley. It might be a Sim who wants to know where a good fishing spot is, so you take a picture of a spot where there are a lot of fish biting. Then you have sims that want pictures of what other sims are doing, such as inside information about what certain clubs are up to, what their members get up to in their VIP rooms. Maybe certain sims are willing to pay for pictures of their spouse to see if they are cheating. Maybe they want pictures of popular sims or reclusive sims. It could be anything really. You get the right picture, you get paid and also would lose or gain relationships based on what other sims thinking about the pictures.

You could use pictures to bribe other sims, such as if you know a sim is married and you catch them being naughty with another sim. It would mean you have to sort of have enough of a relationship to find out who they are married to and how close they are. Then you might kind of stalk them to see what they get up to.

I like the idea of a lot of this being chance, sort of like you have to do the investigation yourself. It wouldn't be like a mini game. It would just be stuff that happens naturally in the game. Some things are too easy about the game, so I would really like something where you have to figure it out a bit yourself.

I just wish that the photography skill had books you could use to increase your skill level or for there to be a bit more variety in order to make that easier to do. I don't particularly like having to take tons of photos just for a small percentage increase. I'd also like a way to put a variety of pictures in different sizes together. I think that would be really neat.

This sounds absolutely awesome! I want that in my game!

If they had a photography career you could hire a photographer for a party. So like imagine a wedding and they are programmed to photograph key moments as well as general photographs of the guests etc which you will receive at the end of the event.

I think there should be a bigger selection of frames when putting a picture on a wall. Its not the prettiest.
