Next Profession

Not quite sure what the next active profession I'd like to see. :*

I'd like a weird, funky active career like....something involving the paranormal? Not really just ghost hunting as you're more so making contact with ghosts and trying to get them to leave the places they're haunting, doing a seance, tarot card readings and things like that. :T

My mind also thinks about grooming animals at like a salon, but that'd probably require dlc for dlc. (But if it's so thorough I'd get it.)

If cars were a thing or maybe just being in a hidden lot would like to see simsbeing a race car driver and starting out as a mechanic and such of sorts.

Completely agree with this. I just want my Sims to have more options. I don’t necessarily want or need them to be active careers (though I wouldn’t mind either way), but I’d really enjoy more options as well as simpler jobs.

Stylist so I can sort out all the townie fashion disasters. :D There could maybe even be a stylist business option for people that enjoy having their sims run a business.

We kind of already have it in the writers career ... but I'd like to see a news journalist/reporter... maybe it could go down a tabloid route or your sim could go the national news route. I'd love for photography and writing to be part of it in the earlier stages. I'd really like this to be a semi-active career.

I'd love a firefighter too... maybe they could combine it with an EMT branch kind of path. I know they are very separate in reality but this is the Sims so it would be pretty nice to have them both available as jobs for our sims.

I'd also like a modeling career.. on the catwalk kind of thing.. not sure what the branch off would be...

Also I want some education careers at this point I'm taking for granted they will be part of some sort of University pack.

This career was added in a free patch shortly before the Get Famous release. It's called fashion influencer and one of the branches you can choose later on is stylist. It allows you to give townie makeovers through an interaction with them.

I’d like to see something related to athletics. As it is now athletic sims only have 1 career and 1 aspiration. And as far as I know there is no way to freelance with athletic skills.

Maybe daily and weekly competitions you can perform in to win money. Or maybe something Olympic related. Or boxing or UFC.

Lawyer! Already wanted it in TS3. And teacher. Also, it's not a career but being able to follow teens/kids to school.

I would also love to have more rabbit hole careers, perhaps with a work from home option. Maybe I'm boring, but I just want more 'normal' careers like teacher, librarian, lawyer, therapist, architect, daycare, mechanic etc. I would also love a professional dancer career, a fortune teller or a ghost hunter career or fire fighter profession. Part-time jobs for adults / parents too would be nice.
