Meet Lucy Fischer. Fischer, you say? Like the famous photographer Frank Fischer? Yep, that's the one. And yep, that's her dad.
Lucy's parents divorced when she was very young. Lucy and her mom never got along very well, they were just... too similar. So when Lucy turned seven, her mom agreed that she would be homeschooled so she could travel around with her dad while he roamed the world on photography jobs.
That's probably where she gets her creativity from. It's not from her mom and her boring office job, that's for sure. Her dad worked for the biggest international magazines and won many, many awards for his photos. He was well known for being politically involved and often worked on projects that had to do with climate change or social injustice. He raised Lucy with a strong moral compass, which ended up in her being a kind and good-hearted person.
The constant moving around and exploring different cultures has also made Lucy very outgoing. She kinda had to be, right? She loves making friends and meeting new people, but deep down she would love to have one true best friend, one she could share everything with. It's not easy to find one of those when you move around so much. Although she can have fun with just about anyone, she has a hard time really opening up because she is afraid it will hurt too much when she - inevitably - loses touch with that person.
The same is true for romance. She would never admit it, but her parents' divorce had a major impact on her and secretly she longs to find her soulmate. The person she can go on adventures with until they're old and gray and still make each other laugh. This probably doesn't happen to anyone except in cheese movies... But it's nice to dream.
When Lucy was sixteen, her dad went to a war zone for what was supposed to be the biggest shoot of his career. He left Lucy with her mom in a small town near Windenburg, as it was too dangerous. Tragically, a few days before he was supposed to return home, Lucy's dad fell victim to a bombing and did not survive.
Lucy was heart broken. Her dad was her superhero and she had to adapt to a new life in a small town with small-minded people. The last few years of high school, she had no friends. She was not herself and wasn't sure she could ever be herself again, without her dad. Luckily, the relationship between her and her mom slowly got better and she left for uni with high hopes for her future and ready to make some friends.
P.S. OK, maybe I got a liiiitle excited about the back story haha. I got way too invested and strangely sad when I killed her non-existent dad :P I hope I didn't bore anyone!
Also, I noticed that she looks a lot like another sim that was in the forum (I only saw it after I'd already shared her), I apologize! Feel free to make any necessary changes :) I also gave her a basegame tattoo on her back (for me, it represents how her father guided her through the world), but I think you may have used that one on someone in the legacy already. So if you decide to use her, make any adjustments that suit the story!
This was so much fun btw, I can't wait to see all the sims from the forum show up and spot them in scenes :)
