Open World Idea
How many people believe there should be an unlocked world with open lots? (no load screens for switching lots in same world)
I think there should be a plan to open the individual worlds to no loading, similar to The Sims 3 where you can just put your camera on a lot and visit it by person. This may allow cars to finally be a function as well (hopefully there are animations like Sims 2 for getting in and out of a car).
The only exception I'd give for there being a load screen is if you're changing locations/worlds. For example if you leave Oasis Springs to go to Del Sol Valley, you'd have a loading screen to get to that world, at which point that world would be unlocked.
Yes, of course there would be 'slightly' longer loading screens to get to each world, however, it has become evident to me that most of these things have already been fully loaded. If you look into buildings you aren't visiting, you'll notice all the objects are in their correct places, just not interactable until you 'visit' the lot. Which is why I think it wouldn't be too far of a burden to load just a tad bit more.
I am expecting a lot of disagreements, but I'd like to see some thoughts, none-the-less.
If you also have any questions about this topic, I invite you to speak your mind!
