Playing Catch-Up

Good overcast morning, All. (The company we hired to do the work, are currently replacing our compressor. Yay. That news, along with finding a newer version of Road to Fame, made yesterday a Red-Letter Day.)

I just wanted to let those of you who have been faithfully reading my little saga know, that due to the Mods Vs Sims epic battle, I have to play an earlier save. It might not put me too far back. But. I played one that had the twins' birthday in just two days. Then I managed to save the game, like the airhead I can be from time to time, which consequently wiped out all of Erik's albums. (This is what happens when Road to Fame isn't installed. Bad rookie mistake for this veteran.) Virtually, he would have to start all over again, spending far too many hours recording, packaging and releasing albums until he reached ten, and the next one that he had yet to packaged and released.

Toward that end, once I discovered a newer version of Road to Fame, and it proved to work, I will play a save just back from the 'test' one. This has restored Erik's accomplishments to where they were before. I may even have used a copy of the backup saves folder I made.

At any rate, I shall be around the forums to comment here and there, and I'll do my best to grab a story from the antics of my Cantrell family. We all know just how crazy they really are, so it shouldn't take too long to accrue enough fodder for another update.

A slight hiatus is all I may need. Thank you for your understanding.

    Take all the time you need. I was glad to hear the Road to Fame mod was updated, I know how important it is to Eric’s game.

    It is good that you were able to recover your progress. I will look forward to seeing the next update when you post it, but you and your health are the most important 💗
    It is great that the air compressor is being fixed! 🙂

    Thank you. I think I called the part by the wrong name. I think it's actually a condenser. Or that word is wrong. I had a productive gaming session today. Had some fun, too.  I finally recalled what I need to do to get my over 8 Sims in the household, into a proper CAS.  The boys aged up, yet again. Round three!  They tend to bulk up upon turning teens. I don't like that much bulk.  I sent them over to their grandparents' house, the Cantrell's. Switched control to the new household and had Joseph Cantrell add them to his household. I wasted little time in trimming them both down. I did forget I meant to give each of them the same mole Erik has on his right cheekbone but then decided it would make if hard to tell Jamison and Erik apart at first glance.

    Yes, it's so nice to have the house cooling down. We're down to 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Yes, to that end, I also realized I had to change out the microphone/Karaoke unit that allows for Erik to perform a live concert. No sound! Once I exchanged the old one to the newer RTF sound was working great.
