This helped a lot, especially after I had them both apologize over and over again. And then doing things like playing chess together also help lower the red friendship bar. It's taking forever to get them out of the red, but using these tricks, it's finally happening. Just thought I'd let you all know so you don't get super frustrated like I was if you're planning to patch up a friendship or romance with your two main sims haha.
Great tips about the club. I just started one after reading this. Let's see if it helps. So far I haven't been able to improve the friendship bar. I have given them a few days to get over the shock and focus on getting on with their lives.
