Alison went to the romance festival, alone. Well, invited by some female friend or another to "meet people".
Well, the romance guru said her romantic destiny was "bleak" but Alison did make some new aquainatnces.
One of them, Mele, just randomly asked Alison on a date. :o I was going to go with it, but a quick search reveals Mele is already married. I think the flirty festival vibe must have struck and a quick, autonomous flirt may have gotten in there. No pink bar (thank watcher). Mele may be unhappy and so is Ali currently but she is NOT going to be a homewrecker of any sort.
Still, this may be the push she needs to start 'playing the field' just with someone currently single.
