Kiley was fun to dance with. And fun to talk to. She was into all kinds of nerdy subjects that Mia knew nothing about, but that was okay, Kiley was happy to explain them in a lengthy and excited manner which Mia found desperately adorable

Mia has a hard time turning away a friend.
But in turn, Hector busied himself playing with the dog, so, Mia went off to see what had become of Kiley.
She didn't come back downstairs for a while.

Later, Sarah said, "It's okay if you're moving on. It's hard for me to watch, and honestly I'd rather not watch any more of it than I have to, but I hope... I hope you can find someone who can give you what I can't."
