To let you know some specifics of where I’m at game mechanics wise.. Victor and Ali are still full red romantic and between quarter and third red friendship. Victors negative sentiments have resolved but Alison still has festering grudge. I think it’s the hot headed trait though I’m a little worried it might be triggered whenever she is so much as in the same room as him. It’s Thursday of week one and summer in game. Seasons two weeks long. Victor has about five (maybe closer to four) days to get married for the inheritance windfall.
I think it was Dela's festering grudge sentiment that lingered longer, I can't remember for sure though. But even after you get rid of the grudge, their relationship is so bad that no matter what you do with they, they will start to autonomously respond with nasty interactions (I did not try playing without autonomy to see if that helped at all). The club was honestly my life saver since I banned anything mean or mischievous so it made my friendly interactions actually have more of an impact, though it takes a lot of patience to chip it away. I had them play a TON of chess and do friendly socials while playing and that was what really helped in the end. Not super fun for screenshots or story telling, but as far as the mechanics go, that's what worked haha. If you're worried about Alison's sentiment continuing to flare up, I'd honestly just travel with her or Victor to another lot and have them basically not come home for like two days (you can get creative with caring for needs but I feel like there's a lot of lots that would provide all you need haha). I didn't do exactly that, but with Dela being at work a lot and having Mia do stuff with Noah and on her own, it really helped just get them into better moods in general and let those sentiments fade. Also I have been known to do needs resets when challenges don't strictly forbid it - as in when all their need bars are just getting depressingly low and it seems like their hunger and sleep are not lined up with in game time properly at all, I do a "fill household needs" and let them get a fresh start haha. I try not to do it often, but since we don't have official "rules" for this challenge, it's something that keeps me sane. Also as you can probably tell, I enjoy storytelling more than I enjoy actually playing the game if I'm being honest, so I am prone to use little cheats and tweaks to make my story go how I want the screenshot to look haha. Don't worry though, I'm not doing any cheating when it comes to actually getting these girls to finish this challenge. I'm just picky with what I actually take a screenshot of haha
@permanentrose The living statue thing was great :) is that costume in CAS?? I don't know if I've seen it available for use @NRowe Love the Fourth of July festivities! They both celebrated in their own ways...
@mightysprite The living statue option shows up in CAS only if you interact with a living statue. You may actually have to tip them for the pop up to come up, I can't remember. Once you unlock it by that interaction, the items appear in CAS - astronaut and cowboy. If you dress your sim in all the items (I think there's 3 for both costumes - face paint, hat, and outfit), then when they are out in public (at least in a City Living neighborhood) they get the option to practice being a living statue and then to actually busk for tips as a living statue when you click through the main interactions. There are so many little things like this in the game I feel like I'm constantly discovering. I don't even own all the packs and I feel overwhelmed sometimes by what I DO own because there's literally so many little things to do and explore.

(Right after this sweet flirty interaction, they decided to get mean with each other autonomously - probably since their romance bar is still in the red and I didn't have a club gathering active as a buffer. Unfortunately it send their friendship back into the red, but I'm a pro at remedying this these days and we'll be back on track in no time :D)
