Currently rooming with Victor Chavez. Free spirited, freegan, romantic (to her annoyance) and a bit clumsy. Will these two get along or will they have to go their separate ways?

I'll be playing with Dela Ostrow and Mia Hayes, the couple featured on the sims cover art and on the banner of the forums here as well. I've given them both makeovers, but I hope they're still recognizable enough. They live in one of the San Myshuno apartments, and they're quite miserable to be living together still, but with how expensive rent is these days and breaking the lease was not a great option, they're stuck together. They look great @permanentrose. <3 I am in the process of furnishing Victor and Ali's Stonestreet apartment. So they are in a similar situation of course. I may bring a fixer upper ranch into it later, depending on how the relationship/s, work and everything goes. One of them may find they have an unexpected inheritance, but it needs more than a little TLC...I don't have specific plans of stick together or break up. I intend to put some of my other Sims in and just see what happens.

Never a fan of breakfast foods and not one who enjoyed cooking, she whipped up a box of mac and cheese.https://i.imgur.com/SGA06TF.pngDespite the tension between the two, she had made enough for Mia. Mia always loved rummaging for unique items, but it always annoyed Dela when she dug through other people's "trash" - yet another point of contention between the two. ok I am so sorry, but so much to do back at home. I caught up with the 12 day Simsmas challenges and I managed to quickly make a couple for this challenge. Skylar and Brady. Will start playing them tomorrow if I get time. Looks like its going to be a very hard challenge :o

@mcrudd Yay, welcome to the challenge! It is a hard one, you aren't wrong haha. Probably one of the harder scenarios I've done just since there's really no little objectives to reach before the big goal at the end, and it takes a lot of repetition and patience, but I'm excited to see how your couple fares!

@mightysprite If Arnessa and Caleb become a couple in your game, I need screenshots of that :D what a fantastic phone call to get. Your Mia is so silly and fun - I really enjoy seeing you play her. She's just the right amount unhinged lol

Honestly I just had one more day to kill with these ladies before the Festival of Light (I know I'm stalling, I could finish this challenge right now, but I want my romantic story to come full circle haha, so they're still a little shy of hitting their romance and friendship goals to successfully satisfy the challenge guidelines) Mt. I'm a little curious, is Dela's abdomen/tummy tattoo custom content ?

Alison has applied to university but not enrolled just yet. Victor is busy upgrading appliances to be more eco friendly and use less water, especially with a water conservation NAP in place. He's been dunked by the fabricator several times and I must get a shot of that! :p Unfortunately, with the public fabricator in the maker space it gets occupied a lot which wastes a lot of time...
Victor enjoyed geek con, though he wasn't quite good enough to take the hackathon top prize. Shots of that later. Bess (being Alison's good friend) has hit her up for capital to start a "business". Two thousand so far. And basically Ali and Victor are not yet much nearer resolving their differences... :/

@NRowe That is nice that they are pursuing separate interests that they enjoy. I wonder if Victor knows that Alison is bankrolling Bess?
@permanentrose Fun to see all the sweet bonding at the end of a scenario that starts out so sad :)

To answer your question @mightysprite, I’m unsure. The first call was out of the blue of course and I can’t imagine Victor would be happy, though I imagine these two still maintain seperate accounts (waiting for SNB by SimRealist to make that a reality..)
The second call came around the time Ali got a bonus for maxing her retail career and I figure that covered it and could have been kept quiet..

I was gonna wait and have their first kiss be by the lanterns, right where their teenage first kiss was, but these two were eager and did it autonomously lol.

As they stood by the fire (with their landlord :D), they spoke softly to one another - apologizing, forgiving, promising.

During their time apart, they had both come to see each other's faults in a different light, knowing they'd move forward with more patience and understanding. @NRowe Dela's stomach tattoo isn't CC - it came with one of the base game updates, I think within the last year or so I want to say.
