One thing I wish is that Australia allowed hedgehogs as pets, though. Those little guys are the cutest.
Hawaii's banned pet list is depressing for this reason. Hedgehogs, Ferrets, many birds, large geckos, etc.
And I feel your pain Slippery *hugs* I actually had a 2nd parrot (he was the son of my bird Aka) and he was lost in April due to an accident and got free (I keep my birds flighted) and we've been unable to find him to this day. We think someone found him and is keeping him w/o trying to find his owners.
