I refer to them as my "fids" aka "feathery kids" and we refer to ourselves as "parronts" >.>
I still have hope we may find him - we're still saturating our town with flyers, etc and upping the reward again.
I have a ginger kitty, and she likes to perch on my shoulder and sit with her head resting on top of mine. I looked at BF one day and said, "OMG, she's my pirate parrot accessory. She's my...carrot!" He died a little inside with that one, but I laughed and laughed...
