Heh. I actually enjoyed that career in TS3 cause I got to build and decorate. I love building in TS4, too, so it could be fun. I kind of want some new ones, though, so hopefully they'll do a nice mix in December.
I liked it too but the Sims who lived in the house I decorated all hated me for my terrible job even though I spent a good 20 minutes rearranging a room for their ungrateful plums. There was this one time a sim asked me to do a gym for him and I made the fanciest gym I could think of and he hated it. He accidently died of starvation the next day. RIP Calvin Riffin.
Yeah, they're appreciation system for that was odd. I've done a hideous room before but because it had a lot of +environment items, they loved it. XD
After that I only made half-hearted rooms and they loved them. Sims are weird.
