Ok, so, last time I posted here I ended my update with Kirk and the death of all future Aiyden & Iris' woohoo life :joy: I have to make sure that no fourth pregnancy ever happens in this generation, otherwise I'm going to lose my mind. Plus, there's literally no space in this house for one more kiddo.

Maddy didn't have a chance to learn that she was going to become a big sister until she saw Kirk with her own eyes. And she didn't take it that well, at all.

For the few days left as a toddler, she started making one mess after the other.

I could barely handle two needy toddlers in da house causing trouble. Kirk's constant screams and cries for food or attention were so rage-inducing (especially due to the fact that Iris had no energy to function at all and that Aiyden was in charge of working as a full time parent + full time job), that I decided to send him to daycare by taking the family out to Willow Creek's park most of the time. It was a win-win situation: no screaming baby around + the toddlers were having fun + Iris could work on her aspiration + Aiyden had a chance to focus on his logic skill grind.

I only sent them back home when Max and Maddy reached full energy depletion. to make sure that they would sleep longer the morning after.

The night before the toddlers were supposed to age up, the few generators I had put outside in the failed attempt to impact the eco-footprint negatively decided it was time to catch on fire.

Iris, who had been functioning on no energy for the entirety of the week, had to wake up and get out of bed almost ready to pass out. Which was kind of weird, in a sense, considering that the fire was and stayed outside for the entire time. She could have just slept through it, and it would have been much better. But not, she had to save the children.

The problem was... that the fire glitched? The firefighter kept putting it out and a few seconds later it started once again, on loop, till the morning after.

My poor birthday girl couldn't get a break. I couldn't get my sims to do anything for the entirety of the time.

The firefighters seemed to not even have a clue anymore, at one point. I guess they made themselves at home.
"Might as well get a tent out here and sleep in it just to keep an eye on these buggy generators. Let's take turns, Joe! You extinguish the fire from 8 am to 12 am. Then we get a nice lunch break and I start my shift at 2 pm, till 6 pm!"

As soon as the fire was out for, like, the fifth or sixth time in a row, I immediately removed all the generators to make sure that they couldn't start burning once again. I also had my sims rush inside to age up the twins, since there was no guarantee that things might be fine.

... of course, as soon as they aged up, the fire started once again out of nothing???????? I was so lost, guys.

Anyway, here are the Maddy and Max as children. I was in such a panic that I forgot to use @OJenn suggested randomizer tool and went with the one we have in game to speed things up. I'll make sure to use it once they age up into teens, though!

Overall, I really like how the twins aged up. Max seems to have taken after Iris the most, while Maddy looks a lot like Aiyden! From the looks of it, I assume that Kirk too is going to look similar to Maddy.
I also gave the kiddos' rooms a bit of a makeover, but I had to little space to work with that it turned out sort of a mess. Maddy's room was the only one I could decorate, as she gets to sleep away from her brothers. BUNK BEDS WHEN??????

Kirk aged up 100% clueless of the fire drama that went on for the entire day. But he was soooo cheerful, I just couldn't but appreciate his positive little chubby face.

Preggo Lia waltzed in uninvited (not because I didn't want her there, but because the fire totally made me forget to throw a nice birthday party with guests) and decided to cook a cake for everybody. I mean, I can't blame her. She knows really well the ins and outs of the Greenes' fridge :joy:

Anyway, life got a little easier after that. The twins had finally some autonomy and they could also help with a few chores around the house. Plus, the fire stopped (I don't know how or why, but it did, I was this close to shutting down my pc and losing all the progress).

Iris wasn't going to wake up for that after an entire week of sleep deprivation, so Aiyden made sure to let his wife rest a little bit.

It was also the weekend, so the Greenes got to go back to Willow Creek's park one more time, just for fun. All of their friends were able to come, which was nice.

The only thing that slightly bothers me is that Max and Maddy don't really have any friends their age besides Stephan. But I guess I'll work on that in the near future.
