@Francisca464 - Yes I've been using the createarandomsim randomizer for traits, it also gives you "hobbies" for your sims. Heirs only need to inherit a "hobby" from their parents.The randomizer uses the word hobby but we all know that it's just a skill. So you will just pick a skill to pass down for the next 9 generations. It could be any skill but you'll have to decide it based on what your founders pick up of course. (basically what Heckstress said! She explained it so much better haha)

@Mionax - Mariam is so gorgeous! I still can't get over her looks and pregnant Mariam seems pretty happy. Well except of course when the bees aren't attacking her haha.

@EMSimmer30 - Yay you made it over here! The house looks great, I especially love the change to the back roof to glass. Aiyden looks great with that hairstyle, it's almost like it was made for him ♥ Iris looks cute with long or short hair, wow!

@Rhythrin - Luana's grotto is still my favorite spot in the house, so I can't say I blame her for wanting to be there lol. D'aww Aylene looks a lot like her daddy which I guess is perfect since she is such a daddy's girl. Luana is such a good momma though and I am excited that they got the family is growing. Dancing babies always make me smile with their little wobbly moves. Kidra is a cutie. I think the kids got Luana's nose at least Kidra did but of course so much changes when they become teens.

@Heckstress17 - I love that you took on the challenge of building a community lot! You're so brave and totally making me want to tackle one. I love love love the outdoor space and that brick is probably my favorite. The family restaurant seems like it is going to be the hottest spot in town. As far as the scholarship bug I was thinking of having my twins try again after their first term.

@debjameswhite - I am going to suffer through Uni again, wish me luck! I was trying to find mods to make the terms shorter but there don't seem to be many :(

@wentcrazy - Omgosh their bedroom looks much the same in my game, all the clothing piles everywhere! And its amusing to see Aiyden stomping around in the background, that hot-headed trait is really strong in him. Hooray for getting green initiatives, it has to be my favorite NAP so far as I love how the town totally transforms. Aiyden jogging with a bowl of potatoes chips is me, haha! He is so smug.

@Wentcrazy I love how your house looks. Iris looks so content with her cowplant. All that laundry makes me smile in understanding. I'm glad my heir does not have the lazy trait. Its a mess when they do. Literally. :smiley: Good update!

Since Iris was into Knitting and gardening and Aiyden was into fabrication. I think I'll use knitting. You don't need to dumpster dive for yarn. ;) IThanks for clearing that up for me. I was going to change hobby/skill each generation. Not anymore. Liking the skill to a hobby made it more clear to me too. ty

So glad to see Silas is also going to university! I like how he turned out as well. I still have a soft spot for San Myshuno's downtown area that is by the water. Looks like Ashlynn and Silas had a great time, he must have shopped at Kay for her ring ♥ I shouldn't be laughing but I am at poor Fawn after her eventful day. At least she solidified her relationship with Jonas! I'm glad iris at least got to see one her kiddos get married.

Now to answer your question about uni for Jade! I think I am going to have her live on campus for sure. Let her live the college life to it's fullest! Plus it will give me time to build her house, I'm so behind haha.

@Kiwicantdie - That first picture of Iris and Aiyden loving on their babies warms my heart. Ah the twin club lol, it's a trying one thats for sure. It seems visiting hours are all hours in your game too, I am loling pretty hard at Lia showing up. Toddler twins oh boy, poor Aiyden's face is priceless and Maddy looks just like him. I love the relationship the twins seem to have with each other, here's hoping they age up to be besties. Uh oh baby #3 is coming soon and Aiyden's face says it all. I was so nervous for a second that you would become an honorary member of the twins club.

@Wentcrazy - :smiley: I was hoping someone would know where I got the Anavrin name from. Thanks for the comments on my post. I love reading them :heart: I'm happy Fawn finally has a boyfriend too. Even if it literally took all of her teen years to find him lol. I was excited to log in today and see you posted an update. Iris' laundry piles all over the bedroom are definitely familiar :lol: I can't really blame Aiyden for trying to set up a schedule for cleaning. Iris' face is so me though lol I hate cleaning! Haha you know I love a good picture of Aiyden stomping around all angry and this update did not disappoint. It was good to see him fixing up the many broken things around the house. I joke a lot about his anger issues, but he's a good sim :heart: Even if he doesn't particularly look like he knows what he's doing while fixing things around the house lol. Iris sure does love her cowplant. Beware Aiyden! You don't want him to get eaten before they can make an heir :lol:

@Mionax - Thanks :heart: You and @IllusoryThrall inspired me to build a restaurant with your great builds. I love having the sims everyone's posting about on the thread wandering around my game. After I read your comment I went and downloaded Ashton. Well actually I downloaded all your Greene kids, but since they were separated I was worried MCC might marry them off to each other :grimace: So I decided on Ashton lol. I hope you have time to play soon :smile:

@OJenn - No worries, It's very easy to miss updates with how active everyone is right now :heart: lol yes Silas totally went to Kays. Every kiss begins with K :lol: I'm glad Iris got to see him get married. Even if I rush there's just no way she'll live long enough to see Fawn and Jonas tie the knot. I'm excited to see you send Jade through Uni. That's smart thinking giving yourself more time to build. One of these days I'll have a sim live in a dorm and actually get the whole college experience.

@everyone: I'll be back later with an update since I actually stole some time to play this last night when I should have been doing other things.. (LOL). But anyway, I've been keeping up on reading. I love how active this topic is, it makes me want to rush to catch up. So far, I'm being good, though, and taking my time.

@Wentcrazy Great update! I sure hope that cowplant doesn't cause problems for another Aiyden! I loved the shot of him jogging with his potato chips. That's dedication right there. (To eating, not jogging.. lol) I totally relate to the laundry issues in the Greene house. I feel like they're always doing laundry in my game!

@OJenn Good luck in Uni with Jade! I haven't sent a sim to uni and had them live on campus yet in any of my games. I will definitely be living vicariously through your pictures!

And with that being said... it's time for my next update. I spent a whole lot of time grinding out these two’s skills, especially Fabrication for Aiyden, but I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures of it. It was pretty boring, let’s be honest.

.. and then this one. Apparently changing the Maker Space (which Aiyden doesn’t need anymore because he has all that stuff at home) to a Garden made the place all Green and stuff. While I was busy grinding skills, I almost missed that Sharing is Caring was going into effect, and I had to hurry to vote for something, anything else. Because.. no. That NAP is too buggy.

The next day… Iris is supposed to drink a cowplant essence for work. Uh oh. I hadn’t saved any up.. and she can’t sacrifice herself because she’s pregnant. So it has to be Aiyden. Sorry, buddy.

When he’s done eating, he gets a start on tomorrow’s work for his new Civic career, and Iris grouchily finishes her breakfast and gets back to work on her Gardening and Logic skills.

The next morning… mere hours before both are supposed to be at work.. labor pains start, and Aiyden immediately panicks. He drags his complaining wife off to the hospital, citing the fact that they never bought a crib for the baby as reason to go.

Doc hurries up and puts the heart back in. Aiyden misses this and has wandered off to play computer games.

Finally, The doctor figures out what he’s supposed to be doing, and our first little girl, Mackenzie, is born. Was the first random name that popped up, and I liked it.

I get everyone home, find the baby in the crib, and then wonder where in the heck Iris is going. Apparently I never got the pop up for “whether to go to work or not” and she was like “Ok, done with this morning” .. and left the baby screaming to go to work.

Aiyden dutifully calms the baby, making himself late for his first day of work in the process, then regretfully sends his little girl off to daycare and goes to work.

After work, the two are sent to read some skill books.. and they both choose to sit around the pool. I have no idea why. Perhaps it’s safer out there? I mean, the baby is sleeping. Wouldn’t want to wake her up, right?

(And this was when I noticed I had played right through dinner time and it was nearly bedtime. LOL. So that’s where this update ends…) See you next time!

Wow, your builds! I definitely missed enjoying some good old build tour from your game :wink: the restaurant looks sooooo good :bawling: the outdoor space turned out epic! That view with the windows and the vines going up the walls is so pretty! Also, seeing all those brothers and sisters from other dimensions working there was the best :joy: I'm sure Fawn must have been confused by how familiar they looked like :joy: - the inside is so great too, though. My god, you make me want to go back in game and try to build something that looks even just 1/10 good as this restaurant. And don't even get me started with the new Gen 2 house! The open space floor plan :flushed: wow. There's not one corner or one pic of it that I don't like. You made it look so natural! Also I love how you called "small" a couple of rooms that look gigantic to me :joy: :joy: also: that black sink!! And that office! I swear, I'm dead. How can I even properly comment on that house? I'm speechless. I can't wait to see Fawn and Jonas in there, livin' the dream life <3

@Mionax that Italian saying has a lot to do with the "pun" of, you know, getting... uhm... wet? :joy: From the "rain"? Or something else? :joy: in your wedding day? :joy: funny how the pun works in english too. ANYWAY- gosh, Mariam is such a gorgeous sim. I'm glad that she's expecting already! It's also really nice that grandma Iris and grandpa Aiyden are still around to see some grandkids, 'cause usually sims die pretty early in my game and I never get to see that kind of bond.

@JordanNicoleJJ I will DEFINITELY jump right into Sulani as soon as I'm done with Evergreen Harbor <3 I've meant to play with that world ever since the EP came out, but I was stuck (still am?) in Willow Creek lol. The onesies are the best thing from that SP, really. I really want some serious rework of the babies in TS4, but since it seems like it won't ever happen, I'll take the onesies :joy:

@Rhythrin I'm here for all the looooong updates! <3 man, mommy Luana looked the cutest! She also had such cute children! I love how Aylene kinda has a soft spot for dad <3 totally a daddy girl. She really was one of the cutest toddlers I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them! Kidra also has that adorable cheeks :bawling: I can't. When the genes are good, you totally see it! I'm also glad to see that Manu had trouble with the fabricator too lol :joy: at least Aiyden's not alone in that fight. OMG kid Aylene became so pretty??? I'm not really sure who she took after the most? I mean, both her and Kidra have Manu's eyes, but the nose seems a bit tricky? The mouth's from Manu too for sure. Like, both of them seem to be such a good genetic mix of their parents! I can't wait to see what the third nooboo's going to be <3 nice outfits for both of the kiddos!

@Wentcrazy I love how busy your Greenes are <3 they look like they're definitely going through a grind with both their jobs and the community around them. I'm legit scared for your Aiyden, though, 'cause that cowplant... well, we know what his karmic relationship with the cowplant is :joy:

And of course he would miss his daughter's birth :joy: I swear, every time I send sims to the hospital to give birth, their partner is always too busy playing on a computer or eating or going to the bathroom to be there for that precious moment :joy: welcome, little Meckenzie!
