Certainly there are a number of rock instruments missing that need to be added. But you know what we need just as much? I'll sound like a broken record... But in TWENTY YEARS of The Sims we have never had a playable woodwind or brass instrument aside from the snake charming instrument in TS1 and 3 (which is a real wind instrument, of course, but is not implemented as an instrument, but instead as a gimmick for snake charming).

The concept art for TS4 had a jazzy ensemble with a trumpet, trombone and saxophone player IIRC. And the base-game is chalk full of saxophone signs and artwork. It's just a bit insulting. =/ Twenty. Years.
