I mean, I understand that this contrast between Paladin's orders and Reuben's distress is probably hard to handle for him, but his viewpoint on normal earthlings' stuff is always very refreshing. Reuben doesn't seem to be doing particularly well instead, is it about what we saw in the previous chapter or did something else happened in the meanwhile? I'm very curious about this part too...
