Tristan really is going through a lot right now. Maybe not making the wisest of decisions, but he's extremely worried about Tre, and he feels like he's kind of alone.
Thanks for noticing all the details! I did build all these lots myself. It helps me think about what will happen in those spaces. Plus I love building in Sims 4.

Yup! Reuben was saved by a campaign spam text. :lol: Or maybe Tristan was. Reuben doesn't look like he was in too good of a mood here... (though, is he ever?).
Tristan truly has no idea what was happening, and it was definitely scary and wierd for him. Reuben talks to sketchy characters in creepy places. And Tristan was checking his text messages just when the weirdest thing of all happened. :lol:
Detective Shelton definitely seems skeptical of Reuben's claim to know nothing about where Tre went. How will she react to Tristan's new information...?
Thanks for your comments on the screenshots. I love doing night time scenes with high contrast and the garish colors you get under bright artificial lights. Noir is definitely an influence here. These were fun screenshots to do.
If you're asking about the guy in the brown coat and news-boy hat who Reuben meets on the sidewalk behind the apartment buildings in the Arts Quarter, we have seen him before. He's made a few short appearances here and there, but most notably he was the main character in Chapter 18 where he went to Uptown and gate crashed that fancy party in the penthouse.
Good question about what Reuben is doing talking to all those people in the Arts Quarter. It does look somewhat investigative. He's hardly the type to just be making social calls. But... definitely does not explain his need to be lugging all that cash to a cemetery. :open_mouth:
Tristan also got pretty weirded out by Reuben handing off that cash to that cloaked person in the crypt. You're right, it does feel like some sort of cult-ish thing...
