Seventeen & Maldusk: A Supernatural Soap Opera

Can't help but think of the puppet when Reuben is counting leaves. 'that's 63! 63 yellow leaves! Ah! Ah! Ah!' I really like seeing how much thirst messes him up. It's creepy. Okay so like. One thing I really 'mourn' about the world (at least the urban / sub urban side of things) is that it would be so amazing to still see the stars so clearly like that. Like if I were Reuben that would be heart wrenching and I would miss seeing it so much ;-; I love his description of it too. < 3 And I like that you focus on the loss of nature as well as just the new world of tech from the POV of a vampire because I think seeing the world essentially gradually failing after knowing it before the bulk of climate change started happening, that would hurt a lot. You would really miss all the natural beauty you remembered back in the day. ;-;

I actually find it amazing that Reuben has a fence help him as a robbery cop. I love how seedy you make the city in this story, it's great. Okay but the goth girl is pretty cool, but not cool for Reuben that someone is suspicious. OHHH so that's what the weird little organisation is! I like that such a thing exists. Oof, I'm glad that power helps Reuben get what he wants, but he better not get too used to that... Could get a little dark for him and for others XC OOH I see Tristan there. It was fun seeing this from Reuben's point of view. I knew he wasn't up to anything as nefarious as Tristan thought but you can really see why Tris was so concerned. Though still, I worry for Tre... He really seems to have gone out of anyone's sight completely.
