Monica decided to go for a morning jog in the snow. The weather was very cold, but she decided it was worth trying since it would help her earn her fitness badge for scouts. She talked to Jeb and his brother Gideon. She learned Gideon wanted to be a businessman, rather than a farmer. https://i.imgur.com/GDnNaCO.png She brushed the Harris' cow... https://i.imgur.com/DiZiNap.png ...and their llama... https://i.imgur.com/IW97jW0.png ...and rode on Jeb's 4x4 ATV. https://i.imgur.com/7o1Qtz6.png She also made a snow angel... https://i.imgur.com/oAvHbJ8.png ...and even played in the mud! The Harris' said she could keep the cross-stitch hoop. https://i.imgur.com/6WUbfO7.png It was getting very late, and the snow was beginning to become a blizzard, so Jeb and his family told Monica she could stay at the farm that night. She stayed in Gideon's room... https://i.imgur.com/PF82sQt.png ...while Gideon slept on the sofa. https://i.imgur.com/ZR5570U.png The next morning, Mr. Harris made breakfast while Monica caught up on her homework. https://i.imgur.com/UwdPS5m.png She decided to call her mom and let her know that she was okay. She had texted her the night before, but the blizzard had caused the cell phone system to go out. (The Holidays have a patio warming lamp, so Monica stayed warm even though it was quite chilly outside.) https://i.imgur.com/K73fVJq.png
Part 3: More Learning
Later that day, Jeb invited Monica to a nightclub!

When Monica returned from Scouts, she made some strawberry hot cocoa, and drink it in the bathtub. (I'm not sure getting in a hot bath with a cup of hot cocoa is the best idea, but, anyways...) Monica worked on her cross-stitching some more, which unfortunately didn't count towards her arts & crafts badge. https://i.imgur.com/TTnbouz.png She also learned some new lines for drama club. https://i.imgur.com/qZoB1tz.png The next morning, Monica decided that a sugar cookie would make a good before-school breakfast. Especially since Mom wasn't awake yet. https://i.imgur.com/0bty4Nr.png I ended up setting Ms. Rita as the teacher again, but she still wouldn't teach the class. I guess now I have to make a choice of Monica's friends being at school, or the class having a teacher. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to matter to the game whether the teacher is actually there or not. Monica's grades still went up. In fact, her grade is an 'A' now! https://i.imgur.com/MBz1SdQ.png Today was also career day, and the class seemed most interested in Jacques Villarreal, who claimed to work in "banking". :o :D https://i.imgur.com/XjEkFWY.png After School, Monica went to Drama Club, and won a Drama Club Accolade! It didn't fit in her room, so she decided to display it in the basement living space on the coffee table, next to the Womp Womp. https://i.imgur.com/DCvUXla.png
I will note that, for this gameplay session, I turned on Autonomy for the selected sim (Monica). I usually keep it off, but I wanted to see what Monica would do own her own. (Not everything she did in the chapter was autonomous, but some of it was.) Never thought of her trying cross-stitching. (Actually, I forgot the Harris family had a cross-stitch box in the barn.)
Doing all of that farm work was Monica's idea, as was building the snowpal. She seemed to prefer doing the farm work, rather than spending time with Jeb. In fact, she spent more time with Gideon than with Jeb. Monica and Jeb did have a few romantic moments, but I didn't get any screenshots since they were so quick. Maybe I'll have her buy some animals one day when she ages up. She seemed to enjoy caring for them.
Unfortunately, things might not be great for long. While Monica was at Drama Club, her mom received this letter in the mail.

The Sharpes currently have §3,212 as of this post. Lori makes §274 a day from her Culinary job. Let's hope the Sharpes find a way to pay their bills. Lori hasn't mentioned this to Monica yet, by the way.
I'm honestly not sure what they're going to do if they can't pay it. I guess they'll have to sell their house. (or at least, most of the furnishings.)
