- Now we have the fear emotion, vampires should defo give other sims fear!
Maybe even a higher moodlet if the vampire is a master, or less of one of the sim has high vampire lore skill?
Unfortunately however, vampires have already been pretty much nerfed into non existence in this game. I even moved a normal sim family into forgotten hollow (with all the other lots decked out with vampires), to try and get some vampire gameplay, and nothing… sigh*
Actually, now thinking about it, they introduced some kind of “disable intruders” feature a little while ago, can they turn vampires back on now then please? Ya know, for the people who bought the vampire pack for the vampires? Win win for everybody ? - I am going to tentatively say yes, but it largely depends on the mechanics of that. All optional? No harm, no foul, continue on your way. If it is something mandatory, it will depend.
Vampires aren't that well integrated into fear, but their weaknesses can definitely make them disliked by other Sims. In the vampire heyday, close to launch, one hisser of mine found it impossible to have a social life beyond her vampiric nuclear family. Years later, I don't even try with her.
I get it, though. They're hardly terrifying when even the most evil vampire will voluntarily release a Sim from his/her grasp before the thirst bar is filled, and will then voluntarily wait to drink again even when so thirsty as to be confined to his/her dark form. I don't think they will allow us to kill a Sim with it, but they should. Plus, the hypnosis/influence cooldown makes it pretty useless as well. Then the vampiric night visits were gutted. Certainly nothing to be afraid of. - SEREFRAS4 years agoLegendPersonally, I want Werewolves.
- ShopGirl984 years agoSeasoned AceThis is a good question, I'm interested to see what people say.
I voted Other just because I don't actually play with Vampires, so I don't know how much my opinion would count, plus I don't know enough about vampires to know how scary they are or should be.
I agree partially with @crocobaura. I do get a little unnerved when I see Lillith or Vlad standing in my door step in the middle of the night while my Sim is sat quietly reading. It makes me feel like turning off all my Sim's lights and hiding her until they go away.
Vampires are not part of my Sim's story, but I can imagine wanting scarier vampires if I decided to use them during my game. I've seen townie vampires turn into bats and teleport over to another Sim who had no reaction, it would be good if they could be frightened. I wouldn't want vampires to be any more intrusive but how mortal Sims react to them could be tweaked. - crocobaura4 years agoLegend

Lilith and Vlad are nice sims in my game. Lilith is friends with everyone and Vlad is a gentleman that mostly keeps to himself. Caleb on the other hand, is a hissing, slobbering nuisance that mostly comes out at night and always takes bat form if he happens to visit a venue during the day. And he makes a mess of the toilets. - ShopGirl984 years agoSeasoned Ace

I thought Caleb was meant to be the nice one?
I'm not taking my chance with any of them anyway! Haha
(Although I have saved Lilith's and Caleb's house - minus them, of course - and moved it into Willow Creek). - crocobaura4 years agoLegendI think really hungry vampires should be able to drink blood from cows or llamas. They have necks and they are big which means they have a lot of blood.
- InuMiroLover4 years agoSeasoned AceYES! I have a vampire in my game that is particularly evil. I have to use mods to make her absolutely deadly. Sims are able to become afraid now, so I'd love it if evil vampires could instill fear into sims whenever they see a vampire attack someone.
- VWoodsong4 years agoSeasoned AceI'm absolutely not against scarier vampires in games, but I wouldn't want them in this game. I don't have the Vampires pack, mainly because there are other games that do the kinds of vampires I want, and they do them better than this game could possibly do (for ratings reasons).
