You can build custom showers with the “boxless” showers that came with Discover University and Snowy Escape. I do it all the time. For custom tubs if you use one of the more squared off styles you can draw a half wall - I think the 3rd or 4th height selection - whose top is even with the top of the tub and draw it around the sides and add the wall paper of your choice to make it coordinated with or match your bathroom. This also works with the jacuzzi tubs. The tubs will still work perfectly.
