I think it would make it more interesting to play them. And not only for storyteller simmers. Right now all (obviously) teen sims are occupied from morning to 15 in the afternoon. If we didn’t have to play teens with this forced constraint imagined what we could do? I for one would enjoy them a lot more.
I'd be able to have a teen guitarist not go to school and try make it as a busker or have a sim working part-time and taking care of younger siblings (and plan to reenrolls later on when they are a little older.)
@JackOnYourBack That's a good idea! I always thought it was kind of odd that sims hardly have time to do much in course of a day, it seems we have longer hours but time moves slower compared to say, 2, where it seemed time moved fast but you had shorter hours. I don't know, maybe it's just me that noticed these type of things. :/
Acne and such for teens (prom, grounded, etc.) could have been added in a patch, or at least a few of those options. I mean, using cc just to make teens look like... Well, teens? I was kind of surprised because coming from 3 straight to 4 it was jarring. Since everything I really missed has been covered, another thing I liked that was just a small detail - younger sims being able to slide down the stair railing. Anyone remember this? It was also an option and to only children and teens, I think. But rarely they would do it on their own. Still, a neat little spontaneous feature.
