Sims Stories - How do you make yours?

Hi.
I just play the game and make up the story as I go.
Eventually a solid plot takes form and I start thinking further out, but game play still drives the story.
I don't write scripts. I try to keep text as short as possible and let the picture do a lot of the exhibition.
It's a bit of a dance as I take shots imagining what they are saying, taking a heck of a lot of pictures, more than I need, and then sitting down and writing out what they are saying in the scenes as I look at the pictures.
