Taking Toddlers for a walk
Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to take your toddler or baby for a walk in a stroller? Wish it was possible.

No, blame lazy Baby Boomer parents for that one. Baby leashes were brought back in the 90's, after all.
Go ahead and bring strollers back, but not those awful baby leashes. They're so inhumane and just scream, "I had a baby for baby-having's sake and I have no idea what the ever-loving heck I'm doing now! Help me!"
Might I tell you a story about baby!me that Mom has told me a million times? At the elementary school I would later attend Mom was helping at the school's library there and she turned her back to do something and when she's turned back around I had crawled all the way into the hallway. So since then she had to use a child leash so I didn't wonder away that far. So how is THAT being lazy? It'ss keeping the kid safe-would you pefer I been run over by a car if I had gotten as far as the parking lot?
My mother raised three kids, two of whom were under 4 at the same time, mind you, and she never needed a leash when she took us out in public. She held our hands, she never kept her eyes off of us for more than a few seconds unless we were in a stroller, and she made darn sure that once we were old enough to understand how insanely dangerous the world is for a small child, that we knew and knew darn well to stay at her side at all times in public so we wouldn't get snatched up or hit by a truck and that we were sufficiently emotionally attached to her that the fear of being separated from her suddenly was just as strong as the fear of stranger-danger and speeding vehicles. Fear and love are a better way of keeping your children from getting lost/kidnapped/run over than leashing them like pets.
