it's easier, cheaper and we have the "there's tall teens irl" argument to excuse it.If they made teens shorter, then all you short teen fans would be whining about the lack of clothing options for your short teens, and the lack of interaction options. It is a lot of work to make all that extra stuff for an unnecessary size group, so you'd have to put up with the limited options, and I don't think you'd like that much.
