Jamie shifted nervously on his feet, tugging at the sleeves of his beautifully tailored suit jacket with an air of nonchalance that he certainly didn’t feel. He was about to meet twelve women, all here to test their compatibility with him. All looking for long term commitment. This was what he wanted, yes, but he couldn’t help the nerves. A tiny part of his mind kept presenting him with awful situations; what if they all took one look at him and just left? He knew he was being ridiculous, but still…
He caught a glimpse of white through the shroud of his nerves, and all fears fled his mind when he saw her.

“Hi, I’m Electra, you must be my future husband?” She said, all straight face and earnestness. He froze, staring at the young woman in shock. At the sight of his face, Electra burst out in warm laughter and sent him a big grin. Jamie followed her into amusement, his nerves bouncing out of his mouth with each chuckle.
“Hi Electra, I’m Jamie. Nice to meet you.”
Her easy smile and relaxed demeanour washed over him, and he couldn’t help but get caught in her sparkling brown eyes.
After a few minutes of conversing, Electra reluctantly left Jamie to meet the next girl. Jamie watched her leave with a goofy grin on his face.

Jamie couldn’t help but feel grateful that Electra had been the first of the women he met, and the next few ladies went by without a hiccup. It was getting late into the evening when a black-haired beauty in a fiery red dress appeared at the end of the path. She stalked towards Jamie with a scowl on her face and stood before him with fists clenched by her sides.
“…” she stared silently at him.
Jamie took a breath and forced a smile onto his face.
“Hi, I’m Jamie, lovely to meet you.”
The woman snorted, “Sure it is. Lilith.”
Jamie swallowed back his rising annoyance and attempted to make small talk with the fuming woman. It didn’t seem to matter what he said, though, his every breath appeared to aggravate her further. She was just opening her mouth, no doubt to castigate him, when a producer called her away.
Jamie heaved a sigh of relief to see the back of her. That did not go well.

Feeling shaken by his previous encounter, Jamie was immensely relieved to see the beautiful, smiling face that came next. He shifted a little nervously when she stopped in front of him; she was absolutely stunning! He wondered momentarily if she was a movie star he’d somehow never seen.
The woman paused a moment, waiting to see if he would speak first, and when he simply stared at her, she smiled gently and said, “I’m Miranda, I’m so happy to meet you!”
Her words broke Jamie out of his stupor and he stepped forward with a big smile, “Hi Miranda, I’m Jamie.”
They chatted for the next few minutes, and as Miranda walked away Jamie whistled low under his breath. She was… fantastic, and a little intimidating! But he kinda liked it.

The next couple of introductions went smoothly, and finally the last girl of the night joined Jamie in the tropical alcove. Despite both being quite exhausted by this point, the pair simply couldn’t stop talking! Adriana and Jamie would no doubt have whiled away the rest of the night, completely oblivious to anything else, if the producers hadn’t told the pair it was time to head to the cocktail party. Talk about compatibility!

The cocktail party was held on the deck out the front of Jamie’s bachelor pad, and all twelve women crammed in there, mixing drinks at the Tiki bar and taking turns playing the guitar (terribly, I might add).

As soon as Jamie entered the cocktail party, he made a beeline for Electra, excited to explore the spark he had felt when they first met. For the remainder of the cocktail party, Jamie could mostly be found chatting with Electra, except for when he seemed to realise he should make an effort to get to know the other girls. He steered clear of the angry woman in the red dress, keen to avoid a confrontation. He did watch her a little, though, and was surprised to see that she seemed to get along well with the other women. There was no sign of her earlier hostility.

One of the girls, Bella, decided that this was the perfect time for a skin treatment, and no one had the heart to question her about it.

After a while, it was clear that Jamie was pretty-well glued to Electra, and so several of the ladies headed out onto the deck and started dancing.

Back at the cocktail party, Jamie conversed with Electra and Bella, while Alexandra simply sat, grinning dumbly while she drank her Long Island. I’m not sure she even knew Jamie was sitting next to her.

Claire had escaped to go and play on the only computer in the compound. I suppose she figured it was her best chance to get some time with the in-demand device.

Meanwhile, a strange pale man was occupying Alexa’s time. She must have shown him her claws because he soon snarled at her and disappeared.

Alexa seems mostly amused by Vladimir’s antics. Not sure if she noticed the black smoke?

Back on the main deck Lilith has bumped into Jamie.
“I’m sorry about earlier, I don’t know what came over me. I think I was just… nervous?” She tries to explain.
Jamie graciously waves away her explanation, “Not to worry at all Lilith, this is certainly a strange situation.”
Lilith heaves a sigh of relief as they part ways, thinking that maybe she hasn’t ruined her chance with Jamie after all.

Soon enough, it’s 8am, and poor Jamie is exhausted. He catches a brief nap on one of the sofas on his deck, knowing he has a group date at 12pm.

Alexandra is feeling the effects of her wild night. She spent much of it sipping, and then swigging, Long Island iced teas. She complains bitterly to Adriana about how stupid she was the night before. She doesn’t even remember meeting Jamie!

Soon enough, it’s time for the group date. The four women with the lowest relationship score with Jamie are heading out with the Bachelor. Lilith, unfortunately, has just entered a fresh new rage. As she is one of the women going on the date, her timing couldn’t be worse.
