Here is another thought, @Rorygilmore34 ... what if Corey's job was requiring him to move in order to advance (or even worse, what if he was going to lose his job if he didn't take a position in another town)? Considering how much his career means to him, of course moving the family would be a no-brainer. But how would Pen feel about such a life-changing event? Abbie wasn't nearly so grounded and wanted to get away from Windenburg after Charlotte and Mason passed away, but Pen has always seemed really attached to the place she calls home, the town she grew up in with the parents she loved so dearly. Would she really want to be so far from the town she grew up in and the place where her parents are resting? Especially when she'd be in a new town and Corey could be working even more, and now she wouldn't even have her gardening club friends around? I can imagine that could cause a major rift in their relationship!
