Insert "internet friendships are no substitute for the real/physical thing" grumble here, but you know? It's a lot easier to deal with loneliness in meatspace if there's a lifeline of people online to talk with. Especially if at least some of the issue will go away once your boyfriend is back.
He's not completely incommunicado, is he? Vacations can be weird that way, though.
And with what @CathyTea said, I often feel lonely too, but I'm the annoying customer who will try and strike up convos with cashiers. It worked yesterday when I bought an emergency package of Oreos.

Not exactly something that anyone but me can fix, but I just want to vent about my old external hard drive. It might be dead and I'm...it's the drive with most of my music collection on it, as well as old saves that I need for BOTH of my stories. And I was just about to finally back it up to my bigger, newer external. :(
I'm currently seeing if the Windows "Scan and Fix Drive" will help, but it's taking forever and it eats up memory. Like, 6.8GB when I have 8GB. I can't even distract myself with simming, it's that bad!
