@AdamsEve1231 I really enjoyed your response to the whole Sim-trauma conversation!
Thinking about Kass within the framework of what I've recently been learning about trauma, addiction to drama, and patterns of relating/responding has helped me understand her so much better!

Spoiler
When first reading her story, I couldn't understand her patterns of resistance and rejection: she seemed to be surrounded by people who loved her and wanted to get close to her and support her. And she continually resisted them. Once I found out about the story of her conception and the legacy of trauma her mom carried, then her behavior, attitudes, and internal dialogue made a lot of sense to me. Now, thinking about her in light of what I'm learning about trauma and how it changes our brain, she makes so much sense. She's very believable. Gage, too--I can totally understand why he'd be drawn to her. Let's hope they both begin to understand and work with their own issues before they ever get together romantically--if they ever do!
