I am trying not to have a panic attack. I went to load up my game today and I'm having a ridiculous amount of problems. My launcher welcome screen is blank and the version of the game isn't listed. I tried updating Java, IE, and clearing caches and cookies. Nothing. I can still load up the game but I can't log in. My EA worlds are missing and I can't redownload content because I can't log in. The worst part is I seem to have lost my CC worlds too, including Legacy Island which I was using for Kass's story.
I have my chapter completed for tomorrow and additional screenshots for the next chapter, but other than that, I'm up a creek without a paddle if I can't get the game to show the worlds. I'm super frustrated as I've been working on this problem for the last few hours and I'm making zero progress. I hate to have to uninstall and reinstall the game.
If I do have to uninstall and reinstall, I do have all my mods and cc and Sims backed up and saved in additional folders. It's just so time consuming. Argh!
Anyone ever experience these problems? Solutions? Advice? Encouragement? I could use it all. :/
I've experienced this type of problem when I can't login (this is through TS3 and the launcher).
Sometimes, if I wait long enough, it will be eventually log me in and it will be ok.
Sometimes, I've just waited until the next day, and it seems to be ok then.
Sometimes, I've closed out the launcher, the opened it up again, and it's worked the second time.
When this used to happen a lot (several years ago), it seemed to coincide with issues with the TS3 exchange--like the exchange was down, or something.

To relax yourself, you can also check on your hard-drive to verify that the save files are all still there. If so, you'll know that once the log-in situation resolves, you should be just fine.
