Great List Ms. Coffee!
In recent days I have seen a torrent of negativity really flowing into this forum as an whole.. To the point where I wouldn't blame EA for pulling the plug on the whole thing and starting over, with the focus rigidly set to the game, issues with its functions and how-tos for the Noobs.. Sadly that will affect not just the Drama Threads but the creativity ones as well, anywhere from excellent storytelling to masterful builds to even art competitions as to who can make the most beautiful Sims in CAS.
The good people in here can go a long way to showing EA that there is a sufficient number of adults in this place who can restrict disagreements to sensible give and take, not dog-piling, scorching, or beating dead horses.. by being a bit proactive when would-be drama students wander into one's respective "neighborhood".
Calmly defuse the situation by directing people back on topic, suggesting that personal differences be worked out via PM wherever possible, or the parties are directed (nicely of course) to "Neutral Corners". Failng all else, report the morass to a moderator for a more official and final word to "cease hostilities and disarm".
Alas, the actual reason I posted this is that we have no way of knowing who the moderator is "on duty" at a given time, nor is there a list of them and how to get hold of them via the forum, not their Twitter accounts and such.
As it is, the "Report" button goes directly to EA Customer Service and, as we all know, they do not work nights and weekends, so the toxic messes in here continue to inflame and fester until Business Hours.
If anyone in here knows or can find out an appropriate way to notify a moderator of a "situation" please do tell!
