Good point, Pegasus! Many of the kerfuffles I've seen (or, alas, the one I was part of) have been caused by folks my age or close to it.
So, maybe we can just rephrase that by saying "respectful individuals," who can be of any age, which, in my interpretation, was how the statement was intended: respectful in nature and behavior.
and some adults act like kids.
And by that we can mean that some adults like to be playful, imaginative, respectful, thoughtful, and kind! :)
