and Sims could try to procure the treasures that lie with in it.

to Undo the Gorgon's curse use their powers against themselves (have them look into a mirror/reflection) and turn them to stone.
they drop: Eye of Gorgon - sims can use the eye on other sims to turn them to stone.
In Under the Parthenon lies the Dungeon Chamber that Holds Pandora's Box.
with it they can spawn/trap the world greatest evil, Giant Spiders, the Black Plague, Locust, Mrs. Crumplebottom, Toddlers, can be used to contain sims.
I would love that.
