I'm so happy that you created a own blog with your challenge. I loved your characters they are better written than in the tv show. I agree this forum is a total mess and I faced the same problems like you where I didn't understand how it works especially with the spoilers.
You and me both! It's so much easier, you wouldn't believe!!! And I like the new options it gives me, such as the character summary-pages that I can have in the sidebar, or notes on things like time and rules. It's neater to have those off the side and let the story tell itself in the posts.

But it seems overwhelming for me, well to be fair the old forum wasn't easy to me at the beginning aswell. I learned so much from other simmers.
Blogger, the one that I use is really not hard, but it was of course easier as I already used it to store the pictures on it so I was a little bit familiar with it. I've used a premade layout and picture so I haven't done much. My advice would be to get a private one, play around without really expecting anything and see if it's for you. If one type of blog isn't you can try another (I've tried wordpress too, but oh, that is so not for me). If/when you are ready you can move on to make it public.
