The war really begins for the United States with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. My heart goes out to the families.
Yes it does. From a European perspective that felt a bit strange I have to admit, that the war started and yet nothing really happens to my characters because it hasn't started for them yet. I imagine it would have felt even stranger if I had been Asian since the war started even earlier for them.
