Ticket Machine

I think if we get a ticket machine with a carnival pack or movie pack(like actual movie theater not movie stuff), we should be able to reuse them for our retail lots. I want my own gym, not just selling equipment. I know this is so random but if vending machines come back then we should be able to get profit from the food inside, not just selling it. Most random post ever, but I have to get my ideas out somewhere. Tell me what your guys think :)

I agree! There have been many stores I wanted to make where people just pay to get in, not buy anything. Also some sort of age regulator or something to do with relationships/jobs/traits (Like with clubs in get together!) Anyways, My point is that that is something I want in my game!

Love this idea! I currently have a very creative Sim, who has her own shop, where she sells her paintings. A lot of people come in and just stand around looking at the better quality work (I display the 'masterpieces' in a separate section of the shop), and then just leave after a few hours without buying anything. With a ticket machine, I could run it like an art gallery, and make people pay for the privilege of seeing my awesome talent!!

Yes!! I would love a ticket machine! That let you open up business venue's that arnt stores in the sims 2. I loved opening up a gym in the sims 2 and making money from tickets!.

I dont know how well it would work tho as at the moment we cant buy community lots so it would only be able to be placed on a retail lot. I doubt you would be able to place it on your home lot.

I'd really want them back. Now we have restaurants, shops, veterinaries... Why cannot we manage our own cinemas, gyms or museums just as The Sims 2 and 3 allowed? It's just an object :(

Yes, with Sims running their own night clubs as well, where you can specify the clientele and maybe even vary it on opening and pick what "night" you want to run (Aliens night for life). I think there are a lot of fantastic ideas on how to expand the business owning section of Sims that I'd love to see implemented!

Absolutely, and you could also add a VIP zone in your business (clubs, gym, whatever) where paying more (or even having a minimum level of fame) allows you to get there: better furniture, more space...
