One thing that's annoyed me in most Sims games is that when a sim finally ages into a young adult and moves out (no matter the family funds) they always start out with little cash. Especially in Sims ...
In a previous version of Sims I would buy expensive cars for my newly grown kid sims so they could sell them for starter cash when they'd move out. Now I buy a bunch of those $15,000 violins. The paintings and expensive veggies ideas sound good too. A nice easy feature that would work fine from EA's end would simply be to let you type in an amount you'd like to send with your kids when you go to move them out. Easy peasy. :)
