Spoiler
Benjamin informed Kimberly that he needed to get back to his blacksmiths shop and since her and Emma were doing better, he would leave the next morning. She thanked her father for coming and staying with them. She really was so grateful.
"You keep practicing on that lute. And keep up with your singing. I'll be around of course, but you can teach Emma to read just like I taught you. When she's older she can help with the farm work too. Those crops out there are looking good and should make you some good money come harvest time."

She assured him that she would and thanked him again for helping her.

Goldie wanted some attention too.

While Benjamin stayed with Emma, Kimberly went to buy some groceries. She brought eggs and wool for Kim.

Kim told her that she could play her lute by her shop stall; perhaps it would draw customers.

So that's what she did.

Sister Agnes was very kind to come by and give her a tip.

John stopped by as well. It was nice to get some praise from another musician.

Simon came by with a tip for Kimberly as well and his condolences about Thomas. He was saddened that he wouldn't be getting any more of his paintings.

Back at home she did some more planting while Emma played with a rabbit.

Glimmerbrook Castle:
Spoiler
Frederick arrived at the castle and was summoned inside.
"My, my. What brings you here?" Lady Goth asked him.
https://i.imgur.com/9NBcpMN.png
"My daughter," he answered. "Where is she?"
https://i.imgur.com/KApqWbV.png
"That's not a very nice greeting. Has something happened to your precious little child?"
https://i.imgur.com/CgR51x2.png
"Where is she?" he demanded.
"Why would I know where she is?"
https://i.imgur.com/kT4zdV0.png
"Somebody took her..."
https://i.imgur.com/4SSEjL9.png
"How sad..." said lady Goth. "Though really, she doesn't belong to you anyway, does she?"
https://i.imgur.com/q4UJG7A.png
Frederick clenched his fists at his side but didn't say anything.
"We made a bargain, did we not?" Lady Goth reminded him. "Whatever I wanted in exchange for the flower from my garden. The flower that saved your wife's life. But when I asked for the child, you refused. I should have your head for breaking our agreement. Alas, it wouldn't do to kill the King of Brindleton..."
"How dare you..."
"How dare me? How dare you! We made a baragin!"
https://i.imgur.com/BptsKeU.png
"She is my daughter, not a thing to be bargained with!"
https://i.imgur.com/TBNLm90.png
"Aww...You should have thought of that before you agreed to my terms."
https://i.imgur.com/a8F2s7w.png
She was toying with him. Frederick unclenched his fists and asked what he had come to ask. "Surely, you have ways of finding her?"
https://i.imgur.com/rLt7orG.png
She thought for a moment. "Perhaps. But why would I help you? Care to make another bargain?"
https://i.imgur.com/9NBcpMN.png
"I will never make another bargain with you."
Lady Goth only smiled. "I wouldn't be so sure..."
"I'll be leaving now," said Frederick, and he turned to go.
"Until we meet again," Lady Goth purred.

Back home Arianna learned all she needed to from Frederick's face. The spellcaster had not been of any help.

"Don't worry...I will think of something," he assured her.
