Spoiler
Benjamin was buried in the churchyard where Edward and Thomas were. There was a small service for him. A lot of the townsfolk had admired his work and had come to pay their respects.

Caitlin tried to comfort Kimberly as best as she could.

Richard was sad about Benjamin's passing as well. Benjamin had made several of his swords and Richard had gotten to know him quite well. He shared some stories with Kimberly, which surprisingly cheered her slightly. She was happy to know how her father's life had affected those around him. Even though he was gone, his memory, and the work he had done, would live on.

Kimberly shared her own stories about her father. He had looked after her all by himself after her mother had passed. It hadn't always been easy, but there had been many happy moments. Her life was marked by those moments. Those times with her father, and Thomas, and even Edward in the brief time she had spent with him. And now she had Emma to pass those memories along to; she would pass them along in her songs.

Poor Emma was having a hard time.

Later, Kimberly sat down at her desk to write. She let her grief and her joy fuel her words and her quill as she wrote down song lyrics.

Meanwhile, in a churchyard in Glimmerbrook...
Raven looked on at her father's grave as her stepmother grieved. Raven felt as if her world was falling apart. Her father was gone, and now it was just her and her stepmother... Her cold, unkind stepmother. Perhaps now...perhaps now she would find it in her heart to love her?

The servants doted on the girl. But what about her? Didn't they realize that she was grieving too?

What was she supposed to do with a stepdaughter? She'd never asked for a daughter. All she wanted was to be with Nathaniel...and now he was gone. Taken too early by sickness.
Well...she would get on somehow. She always did. As for that girl....
"Perhaps if I teach her some magic she will be of some use to me..."
