Hey everyone👋 I hope you're all doing good.🙂
So I have a couple of problems with transferring Under The Tartosan Sun over from the old forums. The process of converting from BBCode to HTML takes a lot longer than I thought. The four chapters I did over the weekend took anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour each. I'm not far away from getting into the really long chapters which would take hours apiece. I was hoping it get easier and faster as I did more, and it has, but it's still going to be an hours long process I'm afraid.
There's an even bigger problem though. As I found out last night it's likely impossible to put text under spoiler tags. I tried it on another thread and couldn't make it work. Some of the chapters are over 2000 words, even 3000😲, so putting a lot of that under spoiler tags is a must. With the old forums it was a breeze, but it appears that HTML isn't really set up to handle posts as big as mine and that the spoiler tags were only meant for hiding pictures and screenshots, not text.
I have Wednesday's off so I'll have all night tomorrow and all day on Wednesday to try and think of another way to share the story with you if you're still interested. Hopefully I can get something figured out, otherwise I'm sorry if I got everyone's hopes up.
I am sorry that you are having these issues with transferring your story over. It would take a long time and a lot of work for you for each chapter. Your health is the most important thing, so please care about yourself and don’t make yourself tired.
