I know some readers liked both versions, but I'm much happier and more proud of this one because, its like you said, this version is more true to who I am as a writer and to what the story is about. Londyn's broken relationship with her parents over her sexual orientation and their reconciliation is the kind of edgy theme I can do. What I tried with Izabella was outside of my comfort zone and best left to somebody who is better with those kinds of themes.
Stick to what resonates within you. Be true to yourself.
As for you pursuing the Darian and Summer storyline, I look forward to seeing what comes of it. :)
