Updating Apartments, Build Mode Elevators with Themes, and more...
Hello again everyone!
I've been enjoying The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack, but I've noticed that they did a poor job on the concept of Apartments. Well... In my opinion anyway.
I would like to see The Sims 4's Apartments more fleshed out.
You know. Being able to Build your own Apartment Building, setting those buildings in different worlds, being able to set up public areas within the Apartment Buildings like Retail Stores, Restaurants, Bars, and Cafés, being able to place more than one family in the Building, and reintroducing Vending Machines.
Plus, we should have access to elevators that can take our sims into multiple different floors!
They can even come in multiple different themes! Like the classic Retro/Art Deco Elevator to the Clean and Modern Elevator. Even Glass elevators!
Anyone here ever remember this cheat from The Sims 2?
Cheat: sethighestallowedlevel
I would like something similar to that for our apartment buildings or any buildings for that matter.
To build actual buildings!
Just imagine it!
You are building a metropolitan apartment building with modern features! First floor will be where your retail store and bar will be. Maybe even a restaurant and Art Gallery. A few of the floors above the first will be where you plan on making your business offices and studios. The remaining top levels will be where your apartments are! And that building will be 20 stories tall!
I miss being able to construct your very own apartment with a business on the bottom level as well as setting up your sim's own work offices on the first few levels.
Almost like having your very own city on one lot.
So what do you think? Can EA and Maxis bring these features back into the franchise and then some? What else would you like updated and/or brought back into the franchise?
