I love some of your ideas! I wish they would incorporate some of these. I shortened your post because I have some ideas about how you can sort of implement some of these into your game, even though it would be awesome for these to be expanded.

1.) One serving of food for sale in retail - you can sell only one serving, have your sim take a serving, put it down, repeat. Then you can drag each serving into the food case and then set them for sale.

2.) Beauty Salon - It's not quite as fleshed out, but I found this great retail lot on the gallery that has the Get Famous and stylist items so you can make over non-playable sims. 3.) 4.) Movie theater - Here's another lot on the gallery that comes close. It has a bar so you can get drinks and a popcorn maker. It even kinda looks like a concession stand. Only thing I wish is that everyone would sit down when the movie starts, but works great with movie hangout and finally puts a use to that giant screen it came with. I wish it had multiple screens like you suggested, I'm thinking you could build a lot like that and it work okay. It would be awesome if actor sims' movies could be watched, but so far movie footage has been only gameplay from the Sims 3.
