Weekly discussion about future packs updates: Outdoor Retreat

With the confirmation about past packs will be updated, I open this discussion to share ideas about future updates for early Game Packs and Expansion Packs.

Outdoor Retreat was the first GP and I think some new activities can be added as a update. Without the confirmation about which aspects will be updated or added (CAS, gameplay, buy/build), let's see what do you have in mind guys.

One of the thinks that an future update for Outdoor Retreat can have are activities from past games, specially from TS2 like log rolling or axe throwing:

    I want to be able to live in Granite Falls and build many tree houses. In fact I'd change it to Endor's Bright Tree Village and populate it with Ewoks.

    A profound yes to Woodchopping and throwing the Axe afterwards. Chopped Wood needs to be used on the woodworking table or as fuel for the fireplace or camp fire.

    To be able to swim there is a no-brainer, but so is cross pack compatibility with CoL's bunnies and foxes and birds freely roaming and spicy mushrooms happily growing.

    For Outdoor Retreat I would add/update:

    • Real bears.

    I just feel despite bear costumes being funny it would be absolutely lovely to have actual bears in the game and we could also have bear lot challenge with some danger to tie with it

    • Granite Falls lake made swimmable
    • Granite Falls made residential world
    •hammock
    • skate on the lake (seasons)
    • better more detailed log cabin exterior (wallpaper/wall decor)

    •more berries to harvest
    •chopping trees for woodwork projects (new harvestable tree item basically)
    •making raft / canoes from said wood to use on that lake
    • log rolling (sims 2 three lakes)
    •axe throwing (sims 2 three lakes)
    • hunting with archery
    •slap dance (sims 2 three lakes)
    • more tent styles!
    •bear rug! with romantic interactions! (ts1)
    •animal heads for the walls
    and bears /bear phase sims from parenthood getting angry/sad if they notice these on your lot

    I also think it might be Outdoor Retreat and in that case, I'm hoping for the following:

    - birds, rabbits and foxes to exist there if you have cottage living
    - swimmable waters
    - more to forage like berries and mushrooms
    - some new activeties or interactive objects (love the ideas above like treehouse and canoe)
