Well this will be 2.0 (updated 4/5/25)

Question

Remember that fixer upper farmhouse I shared a few weeks ago that I was going to have my Sim renovate? Well I'm doing it again, this time with a fixer upper even worse than the last. The difference is I'm going to actually play in this house once it's renovated. The story I have going for this house is two of my Sims, Teddy and Kelly, a young engaged couple, decided to start their new lives in Henford on Bagley and since Teddy is a rancher at heart, he decided to run a ranch. The thing is they are young and broke so they only had enough money to buy this run down piece of junk farmhouse. It's poorly lit too as you can see. XD

This isn't my build, credit goes to Vejrupperne on the gallery. This is their build.

So without further ado, the before pics. What a mess. Unlike last time, I will renovate this house from funds they get from selling the junk on the lot, like if I get money from any of the trees or fencing or fruit that's on the lot, etc. Kelly is a painter so she will help out too with money. They will get married and start their family AFTER this house is fully renovated, and nicely furnished.

Progress as of April 4th&nbsp;Entryway - Before and AfterKitchen - Before and AfterStudy - Before and AfterGuest Bathroom - Before and AfterFamily Room - Before and AfterFormal Living Room - Before and AfterUpstairs Bathroom - Before&nbsp; and AfterThat upstairs bathroom was originally a bedroom but since I'm planning on them having two children, I decided to make it his and her bathroom that they all share, instead of them going all the way downstairs to use the bathroom.This is really fun. It's a hustle making money without cheating or taking the free inheritance/marry for money options. The reward is worth it. It's nice seeing this house become a home. Teddy is making renovation money by gardening, shearing and milking the mini sheep and mini goat that actually came with this ranch. He is also harvesting prairie grass. And Kelly is making reno money by painting and doing pottery.&nbsp;So left to renovate is the landing, the master bedroom, the two kids rooms, the upstairs loft, the backyard, the barn and all the balconies.This is my third time trying to share these pics, hopefully it posts this time.

The renovated rooms look lovely! 🙂Your making over of them looks great! The family room and living room are lovely places for the family to enjoy siting and chatting, and very nice design of the kitchen and dining room. Sims will enjoy painting, playing games and using the computer in the study. It is great reading about the ways that Teddy and Kelly are earning money for the renovation.
