The game needs more or longer Aspirations. I really enjoy playing Aspiration-centric, so those custom Aspiration mods are a god-send. Even a repeat of the Food Aspiration with different objectives, or a new Aspiration to "Become a Doctor", which could be started as teens.
Additionally, more traits would be awesome. I love custom traits, but it'd be nice to have some more fleshed-out traits in-game--think a trait that could contrast Jealous, in that your Sim never gets jealous, and that they feel happy when they see their spouse(s) kissing others. "Compersive" trait. Sims who have this trait and have completed the Romance Aspiration can have other boyfriends and girlfriends outside of their marriage without negative (and with positive) effects.
It'd be cool if we could negotiate custom social boundaries--like, you never hug someone until you explicitly ask to, right? So what if there were coding for each Sim to never hug each other until they ask if it's OK. Outgoing or high Charisma Sims might be an exception to this. This would work awesome with romance, and it would be like mini lessons about proper consent in the game.
