me too! i have a mod that disables them from fiddle-farting on their phone when not much is happening or when they are just standing around, but i agree that all the sidewalks and modern things around town ruin the immersion quite a bit. i really want to write a story based around the build newcrest challenge involving victorian families, but it's such a struggle sometimes considering i can't take any shots of them out and about without having to be extra sure you don't see any of the background buildings, cars or sidewalk / road.
i think interactions would need to be changed a bit around as well to suit a different time period. a victorian woman isn't about to make out with the lord next day, after all. it'd ruin her reputation. TS2 is awesome for stories like that, but so few people follow the stories on the forum hahah.
