Which hobbie/crafting activity could fit better with My Wedding Stories?

I believe MWS needs a refresh (after Dine Out), because despite the wedding gameplay, there's only one new activity, the tea set one.

I think a crafting activity from past games could be a nice addition for the GP.

Baking (which means pizza oven) could be added because Tartossa is a mediterranean world with a lot of pizzas from Italy.

Sewing, because brides could craft their own dress.

Pottery could be nice, maybe it can fit better with Jungle Adventure, but it can be used to craft more tea sets and other items like clay jugs or plates.

Glassblowing, for jewelry crafting.
  • all of them would be a good fit tbh so its already hard to say one or another

but I feel like I'm having harder time between sewing, pottery and jewellery making

pizza oven to me sounds like good kit theme and doesn't particularily relate to weddings

    where as

    jewellery making

= would allow our sims to make their own wedding rings which would be so cute and maybe materialistic sims could turn you down if proposed with poor quality ring and poor quality jewellery could make sim embarrassed when worn etc.

    sewing

= would allow our sims to make their own wedding dress and suits which would be so awesome also maybe sims could actually do the whole say yes to the dress thing + sewing in general would be useful in decorating newlyweds homes etc.

    pottery

= 2 tea sets in this pack are not nearly enough it would have been so nice to have more options and sim grandma could have gifted her precious tea set when your sim gets married

and they could have made it so we can put the new bouquets in the new vases etc.

There are more than 50 wedding cakes with the pack. They are tied to the Gourmet Cooking skill, but you can have a sim specialise in making them or combine with other Baking.

It's not a new crafting skill, but it's a massive expansion to a BG one.
  • I said sewing. My wedding dress was homemade, by my now exhubby - I wanted a medieval style dress, which were hard to come by at the time, or cost an exorbitant amount.
  • I like all the options you listed. Would have been lovely to have at least a restaurant in Tartosa that serves pizza, pasta and gelato icecream. The tea sets are lovely, but they drink it like it's cold water, and don't sit at the table to drink it. Hope we will eventually get more crafting skills like jewelry making and pottery and glass blowing. Would love one of those midcentury decorative glass fishes people would put on top of TVs in the past. Also, clothes and curtains and tableclothes making and sewing too.
Other crafts I would like, not necessarily for Tartosa:
    - shoe making
    - calligraphy and Asian painting style
    - soap and bath bombs making
    - lipbalms and lotions making
    - tea making as in growing tea leaves and creating different tea blends.
    - chocolate making
    - toy making
    - sculptures in different kinds of materials, iron, bronze, marble, ice, etc.
    - kite making and flying
    - painting t-shirts in tie dye patterns
    - newspaper printing machine, could be used to print newspapers, comics, advertising flyers, wedding invites and cards for different occasions. Mischievous sims could use it to print money.
    - perfume making, this could include body perfume and deodorants and scents for rooms.
    - dried flowers and plants pictures, sort of like the pictures we get from collecting the feathers, but with plants
