Why can't our Sick Sims go to the hospital?
Like that is the purpose, we have a hospital and they should be able to go there and get medicine.

"not being a patient"? might I point out our PREGNANT sims that we're PLAYING *can* go to the hospital when they're in labour. So there's no reason why are *sick* sims can't go to the hospital.
The doctor career exists so a player can play as a doctor, not so a sim can have a baby. The baby can be born at home and is if the player doesn't own GTW. But to be a doctor, you need GTW. "Sick" sims can get medicine from ordering it on the computer, so there's no reason to go to the hospital just for medicine that you could order on the computer. Pregnancy, however, was made to be funny and quirky and was added in with GTW. There is nothing funny or quirky about a doctor handing your sim a bottle of medicine (which would probably just appear in your inventory anyway). My clinic idea would allow you, as a doctor, to own the clinic, manage staff and treat patients. As a sick or pregnant sim, you could go to the clinic for treatments and check ups or the "wellness" idea mentioned in another thread.
But I was ponting out that it's not just doctors who can go to the hospital. Pregnant sim can also go to the hospital
